Sunday Lunch: Mushroom Curry

So this week we had a mushroom ‘curry’. Curry in the sense of the curry was spiced with a wonderful selection of Indian spices  and doctored mushroom soup.  It was good, but it was not a traditional curry.

We started with a ham bone that was leftover from a previous meal. After that cooked down, I removed the fat and removed the rest of the meat.



This was added to potatoes, three kinds of beans, and onions.  I cooked it down, but the broth stayed thin so I thickened it up with some flour.  This helped.  Severed over saffron rice.  The final product was a thick ‘curry like’ substance.
