Cee’s Which Way Challenge: Glass Stairwells

While some friends and I were in Vancouver, B.C. this last March I noticed these two glass triangle like shapes in the the courtyard of the hotel across the street from where we were staying.  On further investigation they were enclosed stairwells.  The doors were locked and the general impression was that wherever the stairs led it was closed to public.

One was a single door and stairwell with a landing and another flight of stairs that led presumably to another floor, the other one had two sets of double doors and the stairs went straight down to a floor that went left and right.

I never did find out what they were for, but they are very cool looking. Next time I’m there I will defiantly ask someone.
