While checking my phones notifications yesterday morning I saw a snow advisory. Snow? Already? So I looked outside and sure enough there was snow.
I love snow. The crispness of it is spectacular. So let me show you.
Across the street.
Deciduous trees are my favorite type of trees and when you add snow to that its just beauty waiting to happen.
Warm wishes to you all. I hope you are enjoying your day in however you observe it.
There is nothing like sitting with knitting in hand and cat in lap.
This is Solitude.
Flowers were needed today so I thought I would share them with you.
Thank you for sharing your moment with me.
I was at the University of Washington Medical Center with a friend of mine last week and walked by a water fountain that could accommodate a bottle up to one liter. It has a digital display on the side that tells you how many bottles have been filled at this fountain.
On closer inspection it had a sensor in it so you don’t have to hold or press anything. You just put your bottle under the spout on it starts filling.
If you have ever tried to fill a bottle of any sort from a water fountain you can imagine how useful this is. I have only seen this one, but I have been told that several of the Hospitals have started replacing their fountains with these.
Cool, literally, as the water is super cold.
